About the Foundation

Care that restores dignity and hope

Hephzibah Ladies Care and Empowerment Foundation exists to care, restore, empower and improve the wellbeing of people facing vulnerability, hardship or disadvantage.

We reach women, children, elderly people, families and other vulnerable individuals through practical assistance, education, mentorship, skills development, rehabilitation and outreach. Inspired by the love of Christ, we serve without discrimination, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, gender, age, social or economic status, background or nationality.

Meet our founder

Evang. Mrs Olubunmi Victoria Ibukunoluwa Umogbai

Founder & Executive Director

A registered nurse based in the UK with a background in Business Administration and Management, Mrs Umogbai brings professional knowledge, lived experience and a compassionate heart to her service.

Having lost her parents at a young age and been lovingly supported by her older siblings, she understands how care and community can transform a life. Her community work began in Africa through village evangelism and outreach—years in which God was preparing her for a wider calling.

For over a decade she led and coordinated Hephzibah Ladies and Families through prayer, counselling, fellowship and practical outreach before the Foundation commenced. Now settled in the UK with her family, she continues to serve God and humanity through charitable work, spiritual encouragement and international outreach.
